HostedPBX.ca is owned and managed by Digitcom Canada, leaders in voice and data solutions since 1991. HostedPBX is Digitcom’s own state-of-the-art cloud based PBX, offering enterprise/ carrier grade IP phone service which enables voice mail, unified messaging, softphones, telephony and SIP trunking to the Canadian marketplace. In addition, HostedPBX offers a unique hybrid solution and SureConnect product — a result of our keen sense and understanding of the needs and demands of the SMB market and our extensive knowledge of voice and data.

We didn’t just start a hosted PBX company; we’ve been reselling solutions from other companies for many years.

History

We started from humble beginnings. The President of HostedPBX.ca, Jeff Wiener, started DigitcomCanadafrom the basement of a small office building at the corner of Yonge & St Clair inToronto,Canada. We began the company as a reseller of Nortel’s voice and data solutions, with us expanding our product line in 2005 to include the Avaya IP Office. In 2008 we started selling HP data switches and Cisco’s routers and switches, and in 2010 NEC’s SV8100 product. Of course we are certified resellers for all the product lines we sell. We opened HeadsetsDepot.com in 2009 and we are now proud to offer customers our own HostedPBX.

Where we are today

Now Digitcom offers voice and data solutions to the SMB market throughout Canada, with a presence in all of the major cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. We have a team of service and support technicians that understand how to deliver a successful solution. In fact, we have over 40 staff working for our company. Hosted or premise based, we are experts. We have certified technicians who understand how to engineer a data solution with QoS and we offer unprecedented training for all our customers as well.

In 2010 we were honored as the Avaya Business Partner of the Year, and in 2012 we made the list of the CDN Top 100 IT solution providers inCanada.

In September 2012 we were recognized with the Gold for the CDN Channel Elite Awards Best Small Business Solution, and in November 2012 we were awarded with the Avaya New Customer Acquisitions Award having been recognized for our volume of sales of the Avaya IP Office product.
